About the role

As a Platform Biologist, you will manage comprehensive pooled CRISPR screening campaigns. The role encompasses executing lentiviral operations, maintaining strict quality control metrics, and producing high-fidelity genomic samples utilized across functional discovery frameworks.

Responsibilities

  • Utilize extensive operational workflows spanning targeted cell expansion arrays, precise lentiviral implementations, rigorous selection criteria, and seamless multi-channel NGS integrations comprehensively.
  • Audit overarching system consistency mapping specific replication consistencies, MOI integrity, and isolated cell health variables perpetually resolving drift factors swiftly.
  • Draft absolute procedural tracking matrices monitoring operational variations confirming consistent operational baseline reliability seamlessly sequentially.
  • Construct dense programmatic genomic models tracking precise cell pathways coordinating intimately with localized analytical computation units entirely.

Requirements

  • MS or corresponding extensive laboratory experience navigating molecular biology structures, focusing distinctly upon highly demanding platform-driven array implementations inherently.
  • Sustained corporate exposure (3+ years) operating explicit functional methodologies spanning pooled integrations, continuous CRISPR structures, and advanced viral array manipulations strictly.
  • Stringent tissue culture implementation spanning rigid BSL-2 viral execution sequences, massive replication processing, and explicit representation requirements seamlessly.
  • Deep empirical metrics understanding encompassing replication tracking, precise MOI adjustments, target controls mapping, and definitive early-stage campaign curtailment logic reliably.
  • Exceptional capability structuring specific multi-layered execution sequencing mapping downstream tracking procedures successfully natively.
  • Profound logic skills separating genuine bioanalytical outcomes distinguishing underlying biological artifacts rapidly explicitly.

Preferred qualifications

  • Clear experience executing comprehensive FACS/Flow sorting logic adjacent strictly to pooled biological applications frequently.
  • Exceptional computational scripting exposure generating fundamental review procedures integrating MAGeCK, targeted CRISPResso tracking capabilities natively.

What we offer

  • Base salary: $132k - $158k
  • Equity / upside: Series A equity plus annual bonus.
